Our Vision

"Schools, police agencies, community agencies and the community at large care enough about the safety of children to commit to working together to develop and maintain an integrated, effective and consistent response to critical incidents, and, more importantly, to commit to prevention strategies suitable to each district and school."

Statement of Best Practices

• All Schools Have Current Safety Plans at the District and Building Level.

• Safety Plans and Floor Plans should on file with Emergency Responders.

• Staff Training is conducted on a regular basis.

• Drills and Exercises to train with and test the safety plans are conducted.

• Parent involvement is a key element of safety plans.

• Schools are working in collaboration with Emergency Responders(Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS).
