Our History

The Dutchess County Advisory Committee on School Safety grew out of a Public Policy Conference on School Violence held in September, 1998, sponsored by the Department of Probation and the Children's Services Council (CSC). The CSC is a "county-wide conversation" about the needs of Dutchess County children, youth and families, brought together by the Dutchess County Executive.

Our Mission

"A collaborative initiative to ensure a safe environment in Dutchess County schools."
